Membership
Admission & Renewal Policy
Membership to GHBER is open to any company, organization or individual,
pending approval by the membership committee. The GHBER does not
anticipate refusal of any membership applications or renewals,
but does, however, reserve the right to refuse or suspend membership
privileges. Such a decision will be based on a majority vote of
the GHBER Board of Directors and the reasons for such a decision
will be provided.
Sponsoring Organization Membership
Sponsoring organization memberships are available for interested
companies and organizations. Annual dues are $500. Sponsoring
organization members will receive the following benefits.
- Recognition
as an organization which promotes ethical business practices.
- Access to ethical business practices resources/support
network.
- Assistance in helping organizations establish and maintain
an ethical culture for their stakeholders, including stockbrokers,
customers/clients, employees, vendors and their community.
- Participation
by representatives in Roundtable discussions. Sponsoring organization
members may select two employees as representatives on GHBER.
(See Individual Memberships below.) Additional interested employees
may join GHBER at 50% off the Individual Member cost.
- Reduced program fees for non-member employees.
- Continuing Education opportunities at reduced rates.
Facilitation of in-house ethics training.
- Participation at no charge in annual Members-only seminar.
Individual Membership
Memberships are also available for interested individuals.
Annual dues are $100 to cover incremental costs of memberships
(newsletter, directory, mailing costs, etc.). Faculty and
student membership are available at half the full member
cost. Benefits include:
- Participation by representatives in Roundtable discussions.
- Access to ethical business practices resources/support network.
- Reduced program fees. The GHBER has adopted a " user pays " structure
to cover the cost of programs (e.g. meals, nametags, materials,
etc.). Members will receive a discount off the cost of that
charged to non-members.
- Continuing Education opportunities at reduced rates.
- Participation at no charge in annual Members-only seminar.
